I listened to you talk at the Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale, AZ. I was actually there for the next two authors, but am overjoyed that I decided to go early and was there to hear you. I work in the criminal justice world and enjoyed listening to your stories, background about you, your book, your travels, and your writing. I have finished your book, and it was, in short, a wonderful tale. I love an author who can take me into the story. I am eagerly waiting for the next one in the series due out next year. As you put it, your character has not divorced you yet.. and I hope that the series goes on for a long time. Know that your wonderful book was my weekend reward for completing a section of my dissertation (Psychology-forensics).. and was as good as chocolate !!!! New fan, AZ

A great, fast-moving story! I lived in Slovakia for awhile and you certainly caught the atmosphere of eastern europe!

Fabulous book! Great characters, and felt very authentic. I spent a year in the 70's in Brno and this book captures both the fear of the old days under the Communists, and the other fears that haunt the place today, of a whole other level of violence and corruption. Bravo!
